Hi, Everyone!

My name is Dasha, and I graduated from Barrington High School in 2020. I went on to graduate from Bradley University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design and Photography. Throughout my academic journey, I developed a deep passion for visual storytelling, which eventually led me to work alongside my family in our business. Here, I’ve been gaining valuable experience in marketing and business techniques, while also developing a love for traveling the world. This exposure to different cultures and perspectives has enhanced both my creative vision and my understanding of global markets. This blend of artistry, business, and travel has given me a unique perspective on how to approach design and communication in the real world.

A huge thank you to my mom and dad for their unwavering support throughout my journey. It is because of them that I was able to pursue my dreams and turn them into a reality. From elementary school, my whole family encouraged me to stay in the arts, recognizing my natural eye for creativity. They’ve always pushed me to make the right moves, to go out and explore, and to embrace adventure—even when it meant stepping out of my comfort zone. Their constant belief in me has been instrumental, and I am forever grateful for the foundation they’ve given me to grow and thrive.

My love for photography started when I was very young. I had several different cameras growing up, most of them pink, and I would often capture the world around me with whatever camera I could get my hands on. From GoPros to compact digital cameras, I was always experimenting with new gear. Over time, I explored other forms of art like oil painting, acrylics, 3D sculptures, and ceramics, but photography quickly became my favorite medium. I upgraded to a Canon Rebel T6 and eventually moved to a Canon Mirrorless R DSLR to further enhance my skills. Whether I’m shooting nature, portraits, or spontaneous moments, I love exploring new places and seeing life through my lens. Hiking with my dog, discovering new locations, and capturing the beauty around me are some of my favorite ways to spend my free time.

I’m also deeply committed to my community and animal welfare. For the past year, I’ve been fostering dogs, giving five of them loving homes. Fostering has been a truly rewarding experience, and it brings me so much joy to know I’m helping animals in need. When I’m not working, traveling, or out photographing, I love spending time with my boyfriend and family. Staying busy is important to me, and I believe that as long as my feet are moving, I’m living life to its fullest potential.
